The Oriental Classic stands out for its unique properties. The rhythmic lines and interplay of virtual and real elements extend the space, making it more transparent. The design is simple and elegant, yet warm, perfectly integrating local culture and history. Rich colors and naturally changing lines create an elegant scenery within an artistic atmosphere.

Zhang's design techniques continue the essence of ancient Chinese palace buildings. The oriental artistic temperament is evident throughout the space. The wing-shaped art installation above the sand table is reminiscent of a rising sun and flying doves. The resist printing technique, over 1300 years old, is applied in the interior design, demonstrating the humanities and history in the space.

The Oriental Classic, spanning 1100 square meters, is a commercial house interior design that redefines the concept of a sales center. It was completed in 2021 in Jiangsu, China, by designer Li Zhang. The design research involved combining local resources and culture to interpret Chinese hospitality through innovative methods, reflecting Chinese history and culture in the state of etiquette and ceremonies.

One of the challenges in creating the Oriental Classic was to present exquisiteness with simplicity and create elegance with details. The gentle gray and rich burgundy used in the design soothe a restless heart, and the entire space exudes a unique oriental classical style, which gives people a special feeling. The faint rich burgundy brings out the charm of Eastern culture, making people linger on.
